— Why D4 Season

A massage near Edmonds, either way.

Edmonds is lucky in one specific way: it sits almost exactly between our two studios. D4 Season Shoreline is a short run south down Highway 99, and D4 Season Lynnwood is a quick trip north via I-5 — so a 'massage near Edmonds' really means two good options, not one. Both rooms share the same approach, the same body-therapy menu and the same prices, which takes the guesswork out of choosing.

People come to us for the usual reasons — a stiff neck from a desk, sore legs after a hike in the foothills, or a stressful stretch that's taken up residence in their shoulders. Our menu is focused rather than sprawling: Swedish for full-body relaxation, deep tissue for the stubborn knots, CBD oil and Deep Blue pain-relief sessions, plus neck-and-shoulder work and a couples massage. We'd rather do a short list well than pad it out.

We're also upfront that this is relaxation and wellness bodywork, not medical treatment. Massage can be a lovely way to ease everyday muscle tension and stress — the American Massage Therapy Association takes the position that it can support physical and mental well-being — but we won't promise to fix an injury. If something needs a doctor, we'll say so.

Most of our massage guests aren't chasing anything dramatic — they're desk workers with tight traps, parents who haven't sat still in weeks, runners and hikers with heavy legs, or people who just know a monthly hour on the table keeps them level. You don't need a specific complaint to book; wanting to unwind is reason enough, and regulars often rebook on the way out simply because it's one less thing to think about.

— The session

What a session actually feels like.

A good massage starts before any oil comes out. Your therapist asks where the tension lives, what pressure you like, and whether anything's off-limits that day. From there it's a hands-on, unhurried session on a warm table, with draping so only the area being worked on stays uncovered.

The room is set up for you to actually let go — dim light, a warm table, quiet music you can ask us to turn down or off. If you'd rather not talk, say so and we'll keep it silent; plenty of people do their best switching-off without a single word.

The styles we offer

Swedish is the classic, gentle full-body option — long, flowing strokes to help you relax. Deep tissue goes slower and firmer into the deeper muscle layers, which is the pick for chronic neck, back or shoulder tension. Our CBD oil and Deep Blue massages use soothing topical blends for guests who want a little extra comfort, and the couples massage lets two people unwind side by side in one room. Whichever you choose, pressure is a conversation — say the word and we'll dial it up or down.

Not sure which to pick? Tell us the story — 'I sit at a laptop all day,' or 'I ran a half marathon Sunday' — and we'll suggest a style and pressure. You can also mix it up visit to visit; there's no commitment to one thing.

Lengths and what they suit

A 30-minute session ($50) is a targeted neck-and-shoulder reset; 45 minutes ($75) adds the back and legs; 60 minutes covers the full body at $85 for Swedish or $95 for deep tissue, CBD or Deep Blue. If you want time to fully switch off, the 90-minute Swedish ($125) or deep tissue ($135) is worth it. Most first-timers from Edmonds land on the 60-minute Swedish.

If you're not sure how your body will take deep tissue, book 60 minutes first; you can always go longer or firmer next time, once you know how it feels the day after.

— Menu

Massage options and pricing.

The full menu is below, and the numbers don't change between our studios. The highlights: neck & shoulder $50 (30 min), back & leg $75 (45 min), Swedish $85 (60 min) or $125 (90 min), deep tissue $95 (60 min) or $135 (90 min), CBD oil and Deep Blue pain-relief both $95 (60 min), and a couples Swedish for two at $170 (60 min).

Gratuity isn't included. If you'd like to compare studios directly, see the massage menu for Lynnwood or the massage in Shoreline — same list, told from each neighborhood. What the science says about massage for stress and tension is worth a read too; the NCCIH summary of the research is a neutral place to start.

If it's your first time, the 60-minute Swedish is the safe default — long enough to cover the whole body without feeling like a marathon. Add the CBD oil or Deep Blue option if sore muscles are the main event, or step up to 90 minutes when you want the therapist to really take their time and not watch the clock.

— The corridor

Serving Edmonds and the whole corridor.

Between the two locations we cover Edmonds, Shoreline, Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace, plus the pockets in between — Woodway, Esperance and the Highway 99 stretch. If you're coming from the Edmonds waterfront or the ferry, Shoreline is usually the smoother drive; from the Edmonds bowl or Five Corners, Lynnwood can be quicker.

Edmonds itself doesn't have a shortage of things to do, so a lot of guests fold a massage into a bigger day — the ferry, the beach, dinner downtown — and treat the drive to Shoreline or Lynnwood as part of the wind-down rather than a chore. Both studios are easy to reach and easy to park at, which, when the point is to relax, counts for a lot.

Plan your visit

Both studios are open Monday–Saturday 10 AM–9 PM and Sunday 10 AM–8 PM. Call (206) 688-9700 to book, or reserve online and pick your location. For groups of five or more, reach out first so we can coordinate. The Mayo Clinic Health System has a plain-language overview of massage for stress and anxiety if you'd like background before you come in.

— The reset

Book your massage near Edmonds.

The best time to book a massage is usually before you 'really need' one — a standing session every few weeks tends to keep tension from piling up. For general relaxation, many guests come every four to eight weeks; if you're managing a stressful stretch, every two to four weeks feels better.

Choose Shoreline or Lynnwood on the appointment page, or call and we'll match you to the closer studio and the right style. And if you want to turn it into a longer reset, a massage pairs beautifully with one of our head spa treatments or a facial near Edmonds.

Whatever cadence you settle on, consistency tends to matter more than any single session — the body responds best to being looked after a little and often, rather than rescued once a year.

— Common questions

Asked & answered.

Where can I get a massage near Edmonds, WA? +

D4 Season has two studios minutes from Edmonds — Shoreline at 15507 Westminster Way N, Ste 7E to the south, and Lynnwood at 18500 33rd Ave W, Suite C to the north. Both offer the same massage menu and pricing, so most Edmonds guests just pick whichever is closer.

What kinds of massage do you offer? +

Swedish (gentle, full-body relaxation), deep tissue (for deeper muscle tension), CBD oil and Deep Blue pain-relief massage, plus neck-and-shoulder focus sessions and a couples massage for two in one room. Sessions run from 30 to 90 minutes.

How much does a massage cost? +

A 30-minute neck-and-shoulder session is $50, a 60-minute Swedish is $85, a 60-minute deep tissue or CBD oil massage is $95, and 90-minute sessions run $125–$135. A couples Swedish for two is $170. Gratuity isn't included.

Should I choose Swedish or deep tissue? +

Choose Swedish if you mainly want to relax and unwind; choose deep tissue if you're carrying stubborn tension and want firmer, more focused pressure. You can always ask your therapist to adjust pressure mid-session — it should never feel painful.

Which studio is faster from downtown Edmonds? +

Both are a short drive. Shoreline is a straight run south via Highway 99, and Lynnwood is a quick trip northeast via SR-104 and I-5. Traffic usually decides it more than distance, so pick whichever fits your day.

Is a couples massage available near Edmonds? +

Yes — our couples massage seats two people for a 60-minute Swedish in the same room, at $170. It's a popular option for partners or friends coming in together from the Edmonds area. Book ahead, since the shared room fills up.

Do I need to undress fully for a massage? +

Only to your comfort level. Therapists use professional draping so that only the area being worked on is uncovered. Tell us about any injuries or areas to avoid, and we'll plan the session around them.
