— Step by step
What happens during a head spa.
Our head spa menu includes basic relaxation, scalp care and sleep-enhancing therapies. These treatments are a good fit for an oily, dry, flaky or tense scalp, or for anyone who wants a deeply relaxing visit. A session can include scalp analysis, targeted scalp treatments, massage, hair washing, hydrotherapy (halo water therapy) and deep relaxation. We want every step to feel refreshing and calm.
The steps in a session
A regular shampoo service is mostly about cleaning the hair. A head spa usually begins with a scalp analysis. From there we move to exfoliation and a targeted treatment, a deep-cleansing wash, and a scalp and shoulder massage, with steam therapy or a hair mask in some sessions. Guests usually remember the hydrotherapy most: a gentle stream of water flowing over the scalp.
How long it takes
A typical head spa session is 45 to 90 minutes, and some luxury treatments take up to two hours. Our menu starts with the 30-minute TCM Head Aromatherapy and goes up to 90-minute treatments like Scalp Revitalize Therapy and the Hydra Keravive Scalp. Choose the length that fits your day.
— Is it for me
Who a head spa is for.
If your scalp is oily, dry, flaky or tense, a head spa is a good fit. It's also a good choice when you mainly want to relax. We work with straight, wavy, curly, fine, thick, color-treated and chemically treated hair, and we customize every session to your scalp and hair type.
How often to come in
A lot of our guests book every four to eight weeks. How often you come depends on your scalp condition, hair type and lifestyle. If your scalp turns oily or flaky between visits, stay closer to the four-week end of that range.
A note on hair and scalp health
Please keep in mind that a head spa is a wellness treatment and not medical care. A clean, balanced scalp can support how your hair looks and feels. Still, a head spa is not a treatment for hair loss. For significant thinning or shedding, see a dermatologist or healthcare professional.
— The relaxation
The calm behind a head spa.
People book a head spa for a clean, refreshed scalp, but many also want the chance to slow down. A long scalp and shoulder massage, warm water and some quiet all count as self-care, and a head spa sets aside an hour for exactly that. That calm is part of what you're booking.
A scalp massage is a form of massage therapy, and the neck and shoulders are where a lot of people hold everyday tension. We don't make medical claims about any of it. The research links near the bottom of this page go to neutral background from the NCCIH and others on massage and relaxation. They're general reading and don't claim any specific result.

A regular shampoo service mainly cleans the hair. A head spa typically includes scalp analysis, exfoliation, specialized treatments, massage, and sometimes steam therapy or hair masks.
How long does a head spa session take?
+
Most sessions last 45–90 minutes, though some luxury treatments can take up to two hours.
What are the benefits of a head spa?
+
Deep scalp cleansing; removal of product buildup and excess oil; improved scalp hydration; relaxation and stress relief; softer, shinier hair; potential reduction in scalp irritation and flaking.
Can a head spa help with hair loss?

A head spa is not a medical treatment for hair loss. However, maintaining a clean, healthy scalp may support overall hair health. If you're experiencing significant hair thinning or hair loss, consult a dermatologist or healthcare professional.
Is a head spa suitable for all hair types?
+
Yes. Most head spas can be customized for straight, wavy, curly, oily, fine, thick, color-treated, or chemically treated hair.
