The HydraFacial Keravive Scalp is our highest-priced scalp service, at $258 for a full 90 minutes. It's also the only one built around the HydraFacial device instead of hands alone. The same vortex technology that clears pores on the face is used on the scalp. It lifts away oil, flakes and product buildup, then follows with a concentrated hydrating infusion. Hands still matter, and there's real massage in the hour and a half, but the machine does the deep cleaning.

We describe it plainly. Keravive is a cosmetic scalp treatment, not a medical one, and it doesn't grow hair. What it reliably does is leave your scalp feeling cleaner, better hydrated and more comfortable, and that's what a lot of people are after. If you're dealing with significant thinning or a persistent scalp condition, see a dermatologist first. We'll tell you that at the consultation instead of selling you a miracle.

The Hydra Keravive Scalp is the top item on our head spa menu: $258 for 90 minutes. Below it the scalp menu runs from a 30-minute TCM Head Aromatherapy at $50, through the $85 D4 Signature Head Spa, up to the $220 Scalp Revitalize Therapy. The same HydraFacial technology is also on the facial menu for the face, as the HydraFacial Deluxe at $150. Every price is the same at both studios, and gratuity isn't included.

Keravive and our hands-on scalp services do different jobs. The head-spa menu runs from the $85 D4 Signature up to the $220 Scalp Revitalize Therapy. Those treatments focus on massage, steam, warm water and the kind of calm that can put you to sleep. With Keravive the focus is thoroughness. The device reaches buildup that fingers can't, and the hydration step is more concentrated. Guests with oily scalps, heavy styling routines or a dry-shampoo habit usually notice the difference most. For a deep clean without the device, the scalp detox in Lynnwood is the closest hands-on option at $168.

An hour and a half of warm water, gentle suction-cleansing and massage is our way of pushing back on that. You leave with a cleaner scalp and a calmer mind.
