— Why D4 Season

Why Lynnwood books the Keravive here.

Lynnwood guests usually find the Keravive one of two ways. Either they've had a HydraFacial with us and ask whether the same technology works on the scalp, or they've spent a year deep in scalp-care videos and want the most thorough option on the menu. Both roads end in the same chair at 18500 33rd Ave W Suite C, a few minutes off Alderwood Mall Parkway.

The HydraFacial Keravive Scalp is the highest-ticket scalp service we offer — $258 for a full 90 minutes — and the only one built around the HydraFacial device rather than hands alone. The same vortex technology that clears pores on the face is turned to the scalp: it lifts away oil, flakes and product buildup, then follows with a concentrated hydrating infusion. Hands still matter, and there's real massage inside the hour and a half, but the machine does the deep work.

We position it plainly. Keravive is a cosmetic scalp treatment, not a medical one, and it doesn't grow hair. What it reliably delivers is a scalp that feels cleaner, better hydrated and more comfortable — which, for a lot of people, is exactly the point. If you're dealing with significant thinning or a persistent scalp condition, a dermatologist is the right first stop, and we'll say that at the consultation instead of selling you a miracle.

The menu and pricing are identical at both studios, so this page covers our Lynnwood location. If the drive south suits you better, the Keravive in Shoreline page walks through the same treatment from the other side of the county line.

— The treatment

What happens during a Keravive.

A Keravive appointment starts dry. Your provider looks at the scalp before anything touches it — where the oil sits, where the flakes gather, how the skin behaves along the part lines. That first look decides how the next 90 minutes are paced.

From there the session settles into the rhythm our head-spa guests know well: warm water, unhurried hands, no phone in yours. Independent health bodies describe deliberate relaxation as a low-risk, low-cost way to ease everyday stress — the NCCIH's overview of relaxation techniques is neutral background reading — and we build the appointment so the calm is part of what you're paying for, not a side effect.

Sensitive scalp? Say so at the start. The suction level, the water temperature and the massage pressure are all adjustable, and no step of a Keravive should ever sting or pull. If you have open cuts, a sunburned scalp or a recent procedure in the area, we'll ask you to reschedule — the same commonsense rules that apply to any scalp service apply here.

Cleanse, exfoliate, hydrate

The device work runs in the same three movements as a HydraFacial for the face. First, a cleansing and exfoliating pass loosens dead skin, oil and leftover product from the scalp. Then the vortex tip extracts what's been loosened — light suction rather than scraping, so it feels cool and slightly odd rather than rough. Finally the scalp is infused with a hydrating solution, worked section by section across the head so no strip of skin gets skipped.

The full 90 minutes

Ninety minutes is longer than most scalp services, and the time isn't padding. Between device passes there's genuine scalp massage, a thorough shampoo at the basin and a blow-dry to finish, so you leave presentable rather than damp. Most guests reach for the same word afterward — light. Hair sits looser at the roots when it isn't weighed down with buildup, and the scalp itself tends to feel fresher for days.

— Menu

Keravive options and pricing.

The Keravive sits at the top of our facial menu: $258 for 90 minutes. Below it, the menu covers the face — the HydraFacial Signature at $150 and Deluxe at $185, hydrating and customized facials from $90, and a 30-minute gua sha lift at $70. Every price is the same at both studios, and gratuity isn't included.

If you're weighing Keravive against our hands-on scalp services, here's the honest split. The head-spa menu — from the $85 D4 Signature up to the $220 Scalp Revitalize Therapy — is about ritual: massage, steam, warm water, sleep-adjacent calm. Keravive is about thoroughness: the device reaches buildup that fingers can't, and the hydration step is more concentrated. Guests with oily scalps, hard-working styling routines or a dry-shampoo habit tend to feel the difference most. For a deep clean without the device, the scalp detox in Lynnwood is the closest hands-on cousin at $168.

First time? You don't have to decide alone. Book the Keravive if you want the most complete option on the menu, or call and describe your scalp — we'll tell you frankly if an $85 signature head spa will get you what you're after. Nobody here runs an upsell script, and the facial hub collects every skin and scalp option in one place if you'd rather compare first.

— Around town

Serving Lynnwood and its neighbors.

Our Lynnwood studio serves the whole northern corridor — Lynnwood itself, Bothell across the freeway, Edmonds toward the water and Mill Creek up Highway 527. Alderwood-area guests often wrap a Keravive into a bigger day out, since 90 minutes slots neatly between a morning coffee and a late lunch.

Edmonds sits between our two studios, so pick the drive you prefer — the treatment is identical in Shoreline. Parking at the Lynnwood studio is straightforward, which counts for more than it sounds when the whole point of the visit is to stop rushing.

Plan your visit

We're open Monday–Saturday 10 AM–9 PM and Sunday 10 AM–8 PM. Call (206) 688-9700 to book, or reserve online through the Lynnwood calendar. For groups of five or more, contact us ahead so we can block the time properly.

— The reset

Book your Keravive in Lynnwood.

There's a reason the longest treatment on our menu is a scalp treatment. Stress has a way of living at the hairline — the NCCIH's plain-language page on stress describes how everyday strain shows up physically, in tensed muscles and a raised pulse — and an hour and a half of warm water, gentle suction-cleansing and massage is a deliberate counterweight. You leave with a cleaner scalp and a quieter head, in both senses.

Booking is online through our Lynnwood calendar or by phone at (206) 688-9700. The 90-minute slot is the one that fills first on weekends, so reserve a few days ahead if Saturday is your window; weekday evenings are usually easier, since we're open to 9 PM Monday through Saturday.

If you'd like to try the technology on your face first, the HydraFacial in Lynnwood page covers the Signature and Deluxe — plenty of guests graduate from one to the other. Either way, come with your scalp as it normally is. There's no need to shampoo beforehand; we'd rather see the real thing, and the treatment ends with a full wash and blow-dry anyway.

— Common questions

Asked & answered.

What is the HydraFacial Keravive Scalp treatment? +

It's a 90-minute scalp treatment that uses the HydraFacial device to cleanse, exfoliate and hydrate the scalp — the same cleanse-extract-hydrate method as a HydraFacial for the face, applied to the skin under your hair. At D4 Season in Lynnwood it's $258 and includes scalp massage, a shampoo and a blow-dry.

How much does Keravive cost in Lynnwood? +

$258 for the full 90-minute treatment — the same price at our Shoreline studio, and gratuity isn't included. It's the most complete scalp service we offer; our hands-on head spa treatments run $50–$220 if you'd like a lower-priced option.

Does Keravive help hair grow? +

No — and we won't claim it does. Keravive is a cosmetic treatment that deep-cleans and hydrates the scalp so it feels fresher and more comfortable. If you're concerned about thinning or shedding, a dermatologist is the right person to see; a clean, hydrated scalp is a pleasant thing to have either way.

How is Keravive different from a head spa? +

A head spa is a hands-on ritual — massage, layered cleansing, warm-water hydrotherapy. Keravive adds the HydraFacial device: gentle vortex suction that extracts buildup, plus a measured hydrating infusion worked across the scalp in sections. Many guests enjoy both; they scratch different itches.

Should I wash my hair before my Keravive appointment? +

Please don't. We want to see your scalp in its everyday state, and the treatment includes a thorough shampoo and blow-dry, so you'll leave with clean, styled hair regardless.

How long does the appointment take? +

Plan on the full 90 minutes, plus a few minutes on either side for the scalp check and checkout. There's no downtime afterward — guests regularly go straight to dinner or back to work.

How often should I book a Keravive? +

There's no fixed rule. Guests with oily scalps or heavy styling routines tend to come every four to eight weeks; others book it seasonally as a reset and use shorter head spa treatments in between. Your provider can suggest a rhythm after seeing your scalp once.
