— Closest to Everett
A head spa near Everett.
Coming from Everett, the D4 Season studio to head for is Lynnwood. It's at 18500 33rd Ave W Suite C, a straight run south on I-5 — roughly 9 miles, usually about 15 minutes when traffic behaves. For Mukilteo, Mill Creek and south Everett, it's comfortably the closer of our two locations.
D4 Season opened in 2022 as Seattle's first specialized head spa, and the Lynnwood studio is built for scalp work start to finish. You get a proper scalp analysis, a treatment chosen for your scalp type, and a room designed to be calm — not a chair squeezed into a busy salon.
Because everything runs by appointment, your slot is held for you — worth knowing if you're driving down from Everett after work and don't want to sit and wait.
Our second studio is down in Shoreline with the same menu and pricing, but for Snohomish County, Lynnwood is the easy trip. Same treatment, same prices, closer drive.
Everett guests tend to like that it's a real specialist rather than a spa that offers head spas on the side. The scalp analysis isn't a formality — it's how we decide what your scalp actually needs that day, whether that's a lighter aromatherapy session or a proper deep clean.
— The ritual
What happens during a head spa.
A head spa is a professional scalp-and-hair treatment — deep cleansing, scalp care, massage and conditioning, much of it inspired by Japanese scalp-care methods. It does two jobs at once: it leaves the scalp genuinely clean, and it gives you an unhurried hour to unwind.
At Lynnwood a session runs from scalp analysis into a targeted scalp treatment, a cleansing wash and a long scalp-and-shoulder massage, then the hydrotherapy step — a soft halo of warm water over the scalp — before a blow-dry to finish.
You're reclined and covered throughout, and the room stays quiet on purpose. All we need from you is a pressure preference and a heads-up about anything sensitive on your scalp; after that, most guests stop tracking the steps and just let it run.
Inside a session
We start under magnification so the treatment suits your actual scalp, then move through exfoliation, a mask or serum, a double cleanse and the massage, sometimes with steam or a hair mask. The pace stays slow on purpose.
A first head spa can feel like an unknown, so here's the short version: you lie back, we do the work, and you can chat or zone out entirely — there's no etiquette to get right. If anything feels off mid-session, say so and we'll adjust on the spot.
How much time to book
Sessions run 45 to 90 minutes, with a 30-minute TCM Head Aromatherapy for a quick reset. First time? The 60-minute D4 Signature Head Spa at $85 is the clearest introduction — cleanse, massage, hydrotherapy and a blow-dry.
Who it's for
The treatment works for any scalp — oily, dry, flaky or tension-prone — and any hair type, including color-treated and chemically treated hair. It's equally for the guest with no complaint who just wants to lie still for an hour with warm water and a slow massage.
— The menu
Options & pricing.
The head spa menu runs from $50 for 30 minutes to $220 for 90, with the hour-long D4 Signature at $85 as the everyday pick. Longer services add deeper cleansing, a mask and more time under the water; shorter ones focus on aromatherapy and the massage. The full list is below, the same at Lynnwood and Shoreline.
The massage is central to why it feels so good. A scalp massage is a form of massage therapy, and the NCCIH on massage therapy describes hands-on soft-tissue work as something people have used across cultures for a very long time. We don't make medical claims about ours — this is background, not a promise.
The quiet matters just as much. Independent health bodies frame relaxation as a low-risk way to take the edge off everyday stress; if you're curious, the NCCIH's overview of stress is a neutral read. A long scalp massage in a dim room is about as low-effort as relaxation gets.
We're clear that this is background reading, not a claim about our services. A head spa is scalp care and relaxation; if you've got a scalp issue that won't settle, a dermatologist is the right call. What we can promise is an unhurried, comfortable hour that most people leave feeling lighter after.
— The north corridor
Serving Everett & Snohomish County.
From the Lynnwood studio we're close to Everett, Mukilteo, Mill Creek, Bothell, Edmonds and Mountlake Terrace — most of it a 10-to-20-minute drive. I-5 and the Alderwood area make Lynnwood an easy meeting point for the south end of Snohomish County.
Heading the other direction, toward north Seattle or Lake Forest Park? Our Shoreline studio is likely closer, and it carries the identical menu. Either way, you're booking the same treatment at the same price.
The Lynnwood studio is easy to fold into a normal errand run — it's near the Alderwood shopping area, so plenty of guests pair a visit with something they were already driving down for. Weekend and evening slots go first, so book ahead if your schedule is fixed.
If you've been driving all the way into Seattle for scalp care, the Lynnwood studio saves you the trip south — same specialized treatment, same menu, minus the city traffic and the parking hunt. For most of Snohomish County it's the more sensible of our two locations.
Plan your visit
We're open Monday–Saturday 10 AM–9 PM and Sunday 10 AM–8 PM. Call (206) 688-9700 to book or reserve online, and reach out for groups of 5 or more. New to head spas? Start at the head spa hub or see the best head spa in Lynnwood.

— Make a day of it
Book a head spa near Everett.
Plenty of Everett-area guests stretch the visit out. Add a massage when your neck and shoulders are carrying the week, or a facial to keep the calm going — all three live under one roof at Lynnwood, so it's a single trip.
Booking is quick: choose the Lynnwood studio, pick a time, and tell us about your scalp when you arrive. It's a short drive down I-5 and a genuinely restful hour once you're here.
Not sure where to start? Give the studio a call and we'll match a service to your scalp and your schedule. A first visit on the 60-minute D4 Signature is the easiest way to see what the fuss is about.
Gift cards are available for both locations too, if you're treating someone in the Everett area to their first head spa.

— Research & references
A head spa is, at heart, a scalp massage and a deliberate hour of relaxation. We don't make medical claims about it — for neutral, non-promotional background on the wellness practices it draws on, see the NCCIH on massage therapy , relaxation techniques , managing stress , traditional Chinese medicine and the Mayo Clinic on easing tension headaches . These are general educational references, not statements about our specific treatments. D4 Season is a relaxation and wellness spa, not a medical provider.
