Every facial at our Lynnwood studio is done by a licensed esthetician. If you're comparing places for the best facial in Lynnwood, that's one of the most useful things to check. Anyone can dim the lights and put on a mask. A licensed esthetician has finished formal training in skin analysis, sanitation and product chemistry, and passed a state exam before ever working on a client's face.
You'll see that training in small decisions you might not notice. Your esthetician works out which exfoliation your skin can handle today and whether extractions make sense this week. They also decide which serum belongs in the final layer and which one would only add fragrance. Getting those calls right for your skin is what makes a facial worth the money.
We're at 18500 33rd Ave W Suite C, a few minutes off Alderwood Mall Parkway, with easy parking. D4 Season opened in Shoreline in 2022 as Seattle's first specialized head spa. The Lynnwood studio brought the same slow, careful approach north, and these days plenty of guests come here just for the facials.
All we ask is that you tell us what your skin has been doing lately. In return you get an honest read, a facial adjusted to it, and no pressure to book the most expensive thing on the menu. If a $110 hydrating facial will do more for you than a $158 one, we'll tell you before you're on the table.

Pick your skin goal, then the facial follows.
Most people don't come in asking for a treatment by name. They tell us their skin feels tight, or they look tired, or their forehead keeps breaking out before a trip. That's a fine place to start, so forget the menu for a minute. Nearly everything we offer fits one of four goals.
Goal one: hydration
From October through April, the complaint we hear most is skin that's tight and flaky and won't hold makeup. Puget Sound winters dry your skin out slowly, so you don't always notice until it's bad. The Classic Hydration Facial ($110, 60 minutes) is made for this. It starts with a gentle cleanse and mild exfoliation so serums can reach the skin, then layers on moisture under a rich mask. For deeper delivery, the HydraFacial Deluxe uses light suction to infuse hydrating serums.
Goal two: glow and brightening
For skin that looks dull, the Hydradermabrasion Facial ($140, 60 min) offers exfoliation and hydration. Tell your esthetician about your skin and any upcoming event so they can help you choose a suitable facial.
Goal three: congestion and a deep clean
Clogged pores, blackheads and the occasional stubborn breakout need patience more than force. A customized facial with optional extractions works well for mild congestion. The Men's Purifying Facial ($110) handles the same concerns with products suited to thicker, oilier skin. A HydraFacial uses gentle vortex suction for extractions instead of manual squeezing, and guests with reactive skin usually find that much easier to sit through. Persistent acne is a different story, and we'll be upfront about sending you to a dermatologist for that.
Goal four: calm and reset
Sometimes your skin is fine and you're the one who's worn out. The 30-minute Guasha Lifting Facial ($70) makes a good lunch-hour break. The hour-long La Mer Renewal Facial ($158) goes the other way: warm, rich and slow from start to finish. How a facial gets matched to your skin.
Every facial here follows the same basic steps: consultation, cleanse, exfoliation, mask and serums. What changes from visit to visit is how much time and attention each step gets. Your esthetician decides that in the first five minutes, based on how your skin actually looks that day instead of the box you checked online.
That's also why we think the $110 Classic Hydration Facial makes the smartest first booking on the menu. What you're really paying for is a trained esthetician deciding what your skin needs on that particular Tuesday.
The consultation, done properly
Expect questions before any products come out. Your esthetician will ask what you use at home and if you're on actives like retinoids or acids. They'll also ask about allergies, recent sun and how your skin acts over a normal week. Then comes a close look under good light. Only after that do they choose the cleanser strength, the exfoliation method, the mask and the finishing serums. Lying still for an hour while someone looks after you is part of a much older self-care tradition, and the NCCIH's page on mind and body practices has useful background on it. Where HydraFacial and La Mer fit
The customized facials are the core of the menu, and these two head off in different directions. A HydraFacial in Lynnwood replaces hands-on extraction with machine-assisted cleanse, extract and infuse steps. It's a strong fit when you have congestion and dehydration at the same time and want zero downtime. The La Mer Renewal Facial goes the other way, with fewer machines, richer products and slower hands. Neither one is better overall. They suit different goals, which is why we talk about your goal first.

If your scalp needs attention more than your face, the Hydra Keravive Scalp ($258, 90 min) is on the head spa menu.
Gratuity isn't included. If budget matters most, tell us when you book. Every price point on this list gets you a good facial, and the $70 gua sha is far from a consolation prize. Our own staff book it more than anything else.
How often you come affects the cost. Most skin does well with a professional facial every four to six weeks. One great facial a year is nice, but you'll see more from keeping a regular schedule.

Some guests fit a facial in while running errands at the Alderwood shops, and since we close at 9 PM on weekdays, coming in after work is easy. We're open Monday–Saturday 10 AM–9 PM and Sunday 10 AM–8 PM.

One more thing: a monthly facial supports your daily routine, but it can't stand in for it. Cleanser, sunscreen, water and sleep do the everyday work. The facial is a deeper professional treatment in between, and guests who see it that way get the most out of both.
Before your first appointment
Come with clean skin or light makeup, since we cleanse first anyway. Skip strong exfoliating actives for a day or two before, and bring a list (or a phone photo) of what you use at home. If you're pregnant or using prescription skin treatments, let us know so we can adjust the products. That's all you need to do, and we'll handle the rest.
