Where Shoreline gets its HydraFacial glow.
D4 Season started in Shoreline as Seattle's first specialized head spa. Skincare grew out of the same habit of doing one thing carefully. Our studio at 15507 Westminster Way N, just off Aurora, keeps a short, honest HydraFacial menu with no bait-and-switch at the sink. It's Deluxe at $150 and Keravive Scalp at $258, the same as our Lynnwood location.
People like a HydraFacial because it freshens up the skin without any drama. There's no peeling, no red face for a week, and no long recovery. It works in gentle stages to cleanse, exfoliate, clear pores and hydrate, and most guests walk out looking more rested. It's a cosmetic, glow-focused treatment, and we describe it exactly that way instead of promising it will do more.
A lot of Shoreline regulars come back for the room as much as the result. We keep it calm and slow, we talk you through each step, and we never treat your appointment like an assembly line. If HydraFacials are new to you, that pace is a big part of why the hour feels worth it.

How a HydraFacial actually works.
A HydraFacial is really a sequence, and each stage has a job. Your esthetician moves through them in order, checking in as your skin responds, so nothing feels rushed or harsh.
We build the session around your skin on the day rather than a fixed routine. After a dry stretch or a lot of travel, we lean into hydration. When pores feel congested, we linger on extraction. Someone is watching how your skin responds the whole time, so the pacing shifts to match what you need that afternoon.
Cleanse, exfoliate, extract, hydrate
It opens with a cleanse and a mild exfoliating pass to sweep away dull surface cells. Then comes the part HydraFacial is known for: extraction by gentle vortex suction instead of manual squeezing. It clears oil and buildup from pores without the pinching. The finish is a flood of hydrating serums, and on the Deluxe we layer in a booster picked for your skin that day. It's comfortable enough that people often call it relaxing more than clinical.
Each step feels a little different. The suction tip is cool and tingly, the exfoliation feels faintly gritty, and the serum goes on cool and slick. Nothing stings, and guests often don't expect a facial that does this much to feel so relaxed.

Given our head-spa roots, it's a favorite here, and an easy add for anyone who already loves scalp work.
Is it right for your skin?
HydraFacials work across dry, oily and combination skin, and often suit sensitive skin because the exfoliation is dialed to your tolerance. It won't treat a medical skin condition, and results vary from person to person. For everyday dullness, congestion and dehydration, though, it's a reliable choice without much fuss. Serving Shoreline and the north end.
Our Shoreline studio is an easy trip for guests from north Seattle, Lake Forest Park, Edmonds and the rest of the north end. It's a straight shot off Aurora with simple parking, which is worth more than it sounds when the goal is to relax.
Edmonds guests, note the geography: Shoreline sits just south of you and Lynnwood just north. You can pick whichever is faster and get the identical HydraFacial menu either way.
Because we're right off Aurora, a HydraFacial slots easily into a north-Seattle errand run or a quiet weekend morning. Evening and weekend appointments are available too, and the 9 PM weekday close means you can come straight from work without watching the clock.
A quick note for first-timers: there's nothing to prepare. Come with clean or lightly made-up skin, mention any sensitivities, allergies or recent treatments, and we'll handle the rest. If you wear makeup in, we'll cleanse it off at the start, and it won't change the result. All we ask is that you give yourself the full hour and don't rush off the moment it ends.
