— Why D4 Season

Where Shoreline gets its HydraFacial glow.

D4 Season started in Shoreline — we were Seattle's first specialized head spa, and skincare grew naturally out of that same obsession with doing one thing carefully. Our studio at 15507 Westminster Way N, just off Aurora, keeps a tight, honest HydraFacial menu with no bait-and-switch at the sink: Signature $150, Deluxe $185, Keravive Scalp $258 — the same as our Lynnwood location.

A HydraFacial appeals to people who want visible freshness without any drama: no peeling, no red face for a week, no long recovery. It works in gentle stages to cleanse, exfoliate, clear pores and hydrate, and most guests walk out looking simply more rested. It's a cosmetic, glow-focused treatment, and we describe it exactly that way rather than promising it will do more.

What tends to bring Shoreline regulars back is the room as much as the result. We keep it calm and unhurried, we talk you through each step, and we never treat your appointment like an assembly line. If HydraFacials are new to you, that pace is a big part of why the hour feels worth it.

Our Shoreline guests often want a dependable, repeatable result — the kind of treatment you can book before a reunion or a big presentation and know exactly what you'll get. HydraFacials fit that brief because they're consistent and gentle, with adjustable exfoliation for sensitive skin and suction-based extraction instead of manual pressure. It's a forgiving first facial and an easy monthly habit.

— The treatment

How a HydraFacial actually works.

A HydraFacial is really a sequence, and each stage has a job. Your esthetician moves through them in order, checking in as your skin responds, so nothing feels rushed or harsh.

We build the session around your skin on the day rather than a fixed routine. After a dry stretch or a lot of travel, we lean into hydration; when pores feel congested, we linger on extraction. Because a person is reading your skin in real time, the pacing shifts to match what you actually need that afternoon.

Cleanse, exfoliate, extract, hydrate

It opens with a cleanse and a mild exfoliating pass to sweep away dull surface cells. Then comes the part HydraFacial is known for — extraction by gentle vortex suction instead of manual squeezing, which clears oil and buildup from pores without the pinching. The finish is a flood of hydrating serums; on the Deluxe we layer in a booster picked for your skin that day. The whole thing is comfortable enough that people often describe it as relaxing rather than clinical.

You'll notice each stage distinctly — the cool tingle of the suction tip, the faint grit of exfoliation, the cool slick of serum — yet nothing stings. Guests are often surprised that a facial doing this much can feel this unhurried.

The 90-minute Keravive Scalp

If your interest is the scalp rather than the face, the HydraFacial Keravive Scalp takes the same cleanse-extract-hydrate logic and spends 90 minutes on the scalp for a clean, hydrated, refreshed feeling. Given our head-spa roots, it's a favourite here — an easy add for anyone who already loves scalp work.

Is it right for your skin?

HydraFacials work across dry, oily and combination skin, and often suit sensitive skin because the exfoliation is dialed to your tolerance. It won't treat a medical skin condition, and results vary from person to person, but for everyday dullness, congestion and dehydration it's a reliable, low-drama choice. If you're pregnant or using strong prescription actives, tell your esthetician so we can adjust the treatment.

— Menu

HydraFacial options and pricing.

Straightforward numbers: the Signature is $150 for a 60-minute cleanse, exfoliation, extraction and hydration; the Deluxe is $185 for the Signature plus a targeted booster serum; the Keravive Scalp is $258 for 90 minutes on the scalp. The wider facial menu below opens at $70, so you can also build a custom visit around a hydrating facial, gua sha or our La Mer ritual.

Everything is the same price at both studios, gratuity excluded. Weighing where to go? Our full Shoreline facial guide covers the entire skincare menu, and the HydraFacial in Lynnwood page is there if that location suits your commute better.

Not sure whether to start with the Signature or the Deluxe? For a first visit the Signature is plenty; the booster on the Deluxe is easy to add later, once you know how your skin responds. For weddings and photos, guests tend to choose the Deluxe for a little extra polish — but neither is a wrong answer. We'll always tell you honestly if a simpler hydrating facial would serve you better that day.

— Around town

Serving Shoreline and the north end.

Our Shoreline studio is an easy trip for guests from north Seattle, Lake Forest Park, Edmonds and the rest of the north end. It's a straight shot off Aurora with simple parking, which is worth more than it sounds when the goal is to relax.

Edmonds guests, note the geography: Shoreline sits just south of you and Lynnwood just north, so you can pick whichever is faster and get the identical HydraFacial menu either way.

Because we're right off Aurora, a HydraFacial slots easily into a north-Seattle errand run or a quiet weekend morning. Evening and weekend appointments are available too, and the 9 PM weekday close means you can come straight from work without watching the clock.

A quick note for first-timers: there's nothing to prepare. Come with clean or lightly made-up skin, mention any sensitivities, allergies or recent treatments, and we'll handle the rest. If you wear makeup in, we simply cleanse it off at the start — it changes nothing about the result. The only real ask is that you give yourself the full hour without rushing off the moment it ends.

Plan your visit

Both studios are open Monday–Saturday 10 AM–9 PM and Sunday 10 AM–8 PM. Call (206) 688-9700 to book or reserve online; for groups of five or more, contact us ahead so we can set aside the time.

— The calm part

Book your HydraFacial in Shoreline.

There's a reason a HydraFacial feels good beyond the mirror. An unhurried, hands-on hour is a form of self-care, and independent health groups treat deliberate relaxation as a sensible, low-risk way to manage everyday stress — the Mayo Clinic and the NCCIH on mind and body practices are good neutral reading. We think of that calm as half the treatment.

Ready when you are — book the Signature, Deluxe or Keravive Scalp online, or call and we'll help you choose. Same team, same menu and same pricing whether you visit Shoreline or Lynnwood, and you're always welcome to add a facial or a head spa session to round out the visit.

A HydraFacial is a lovely complement to good daily habits — cleanser, sunscreen, water — rather than a substitute for them, and it's an easy hour to look forward to on the calendar.

— Common questions

Asked & answered.

Where is the HydraFacial studio in Shoreline? +

D4 Season Shoreline is at 15507 Westminster Way N, Ste 7E, just off Aurora Avenue N. We're Seattle's first specialized head spa, and our skincare menu — including HydraFacial — is offered at the same prices as our Lynnwood location.

Which HydraFacial should I choose? +

If you want a clean, hydrated glow, the $150 Signature is the classic pick. Choose the $185 Deluxe if you'd like a booster serum matched to a specific concern, or the $258 Keravive Scalp if you'd rather focus on the scalp. We'll help you decide at check-in.

Can a HydraFacial help with dull or dry-looking skin? +

A HydraFacial is designed to deep-cleanse and hydrate, so many guests feel their skin looks fresher and more dewy afterward. It's a cosmetic, glow-focused treatment rather than a medical one, and results vary from person to person.

Is a HydraFacial okay for sensitive skin? +

Often, yes — it's one of the gentler professional facials, using light suction rather than manual extraction. Still, tell your esthetician about any sensitivities or reactions so the exfoliation and serums can be kept mild.

Can I book a HydraFacial before an event? +

That's one of the most popular reasons people book. Because there's no peeling or downtime, a HydraFacial a day or two before a wedding, photos or a night out is a common choice. Same-week appointments are often available — call to check.

Do you offer other facials besides HydraFacial in Shoreline? +

Yes. Alongside HydraFacial we offer hydrating facials, gua sha, a men's purifying facial and luxury options including a La Mer ritual. See the full Shoreline facial menu for everything, all at the same pricing as Lynnwood.

How long is a HydraFacial appointment? +

Plan on about 60 minutes for the Signature or Deluxe, and 90 minutes for the Keravive Scalp. Arriving a few minutes early gives you time to settle in and talk through your skin before we begin.
