— In the studio

A short Tuesday, well spent.

Half an hour is enough to change the shape of a day. The Tuesday Special exists for the visit you can actually fit in — a lunch break, the gap before dinner, the hour after work when going home immediately would be a waste of the evening.

Pick one and you're out in thirty minutes. Pick all three and you've had your neck and shoulders worked on, a gua sha lifting facial, and your hair washed and blown out, in ninety. Everything happens at the same two studios, with the same therapists and the same products as the full menu — the only thing that changes on Tuesdays is the price.

If you'd rather go deeper, our head spa, body therapy and facial menus run every day of the week.

— The treatments

What happens in thirty minutes.

A short treatment isn't a shortened one. Each of these is a complete service with its own beginning and end — we just don't pad it out.

Neck & Shoulder Massage — 30 minutes

Your therapist works the band of muscle that runs from the base of the skull across the tops of the shoulders and down between the shoulder blades — the place a desk, a steering wheel or a phone puts tension first. Pressure is set by conversation, not by a default, and you can ask for more or less at any point without it being awkward. Half an hour is enough to unpick the specific knot you came in with, which is why this is the service regulars book between longer visits.

It's the same Neck & Shoulder Relaxing Massage that sits on our standard menu — the technique doesn't change on a Tuesday, only the price does.

Guasha Lifting Facial — 30 or 60 minutes

Gua sha is a traditional East Asian technique: a smooth stone drawn along the face in slow, deliberate strokes. Here it follows a cleanse, so the skin is clear before any work starts, and the strokes run along the jaw, cheekbones and brow. The immediate effect people notice is that the face feels less puffy and more defined — which is why the 30-minute version books solidly before evenings out.

The 60-minute version is new to the Tuesday list and it isn't simply the short one run twice. The extra half hour buys a longer cleanse, a proper mask, and enough time on each section of the face that nothing is rushed. At our Lynnwood studio, facials are performed by a licensed esthetician. If you're deciding between the two, the short one is maintenance and the long one is a reset.

Hair Shampoo Wash & Blow Dry — 30 minutes

A full shampoo wash at the basin, finished with a blow-dry. It reads as the simplest thing on the list and it's the one people underestimate: having someone else wash your hair properly, with your head supported and nothing to do for twenty minutes, is a large part of why our head spa work exists at all. You leave dry and styled rather than damp and hurrying.

Order matters if you're booking all three, and we'll sequence it for you at check-in:

  1. 1. Neck & Shoulder Massage first — oils and pressure work go before anything that touches the face or hair.
  2. 2. Guasha Lifting Facial second, on skin that's already relaxed.
  3. 3. Shampoo Wash & Blow Dry last, so you leave dry and styled — a facial after a blow-dry is the wrong way round.

— Planning it

Before you come in.

Everything at D4 Season is by appointment, Tuesday included — there's no walk-in queue, and Tuesday slots are the first to go in any given week. Book online through whichever studio is the easier drive, or call (206) 688-9700; one line reaches both. For groups of five or more, call ahead rather than booking online so we can hold the room.

Arriving five minutes early is worth it. It leaves room for the short conversation that shapes the treatment — where the tension actually is, what your skin has been doing lately, whether you want the pressure firmer than last time — without eating into the thirty minutes you're paying for.

Gratuity isn't included in service prices. Tuesday pricing is identical at Shoreline and Lynnwood, so choose on parking and drive time rather than price. Both studios are open Mon — Sat 10:00 — 21:00 and Sun 10:00 — 20:00.

A D4 Season gift card works on Tuesday pricing the same as any other day, and is valid at both studios — which makes the $148 all-three a straightforward thing to give someone.
